Understanding Quotes

Every bridge quote includes:

  • Source Amount: What you're sending

  • Destination Amount: ZEC you'll receive (guaranteed)

  • Network Fees: Blockchain transaction costs

  • Bridge Fees: Service fees

  • Compliance Fees: If applicable

  • Estimated Time: How long the bridge typically takes

Quotes are valid for a limited time. If the quote expires, request a new one.

Tips for First-Time Users

  • Start Small: For your first bridge, use a small amount to familiarize yourself with the process

  • Verify Addresses: Always double-check destination addresses before confirming

  • Check Fees: Review the fee breakdown to understand all costs

  • Be Patient: Bridge transactions take time. Most complete in 5-30 minutes depending on the source chain

  • Keep Window Open: You can close the browser, but keeping it open lets you track progress in real-time

Common First-Time Questions

Do I need to create an account?

No. ZcashBridge is non-custodial and doesn't require account creation. Simply connect your wallet and start bridging.

Can I cancel a transaction?

Once confirmed on the source chain, transactions cannot be cancelled. Always review details carefully before confirming.

What if I enter the wrong address?

Always verify addresses before sending. If you've sent to the wrong address, contact support immediately with your transaction hash.

How long does it take?
  • Bitcoin: 10-60 minutes (depends on network congestion)

  • Ethereum: 1-5 minutes

  • Solana: 1-3 minutes

  • Tron: 1-3 minutes

  • EVM Chains: 1-5 minutes
